Title: Dynamic overclocking and the i4770k
Post by: CFC_Conky on May 02, 2014, 08:18:32 PM
Hi Chaps,

I had to take the new machine into the shop yesterday to replace a faulty cmos battery, while I was there the tech enabled the dynamic over clocking feature on the cpu. Now, depending on the load, it will wind up to 3.9Ghz from the standard 3.5, perhaps not a huge increase but a boost all the same. I told the fellows at the shop that the day after the warranty ends, the real over clocking begins!

They are aghast at my temerity, don't they know it's all about the Ghz?  :D

Pip, pip,
Conky

You should get it to 4.5Ghz without too much fuss.
