Re. the discussion last night about getting the right hand brake pedal to work in UP3 when using rudder pedals, it is possible to fool the system by editing the "settings.ini" file in "users"

Open the "Users/current pilot name/settings.ini" file (in Notebook) and look for these lines:-

[HotKey move]
AXE_RX JoystickDevice0=trimrudder
AXE_RY JoystickDevice0=trimelevator
AXE_RZ JoystickDevice1=rudder
AXE_U JoystickDevice0=pitch
AXE_X JoystickDevice1=brakes
AXE_X JoystickDevice0=aileron
AXE_Y JoystickDevice0=elevator
AXE_Z JoystickDevice0=-power

Underneath the line for brakes which should already be present for your left pedal, insert another line:-

[HotKey move]
AXE_RX JoystickDevice0=trimrudder
AXE_RY JoystickDevice0=trimelevator
AXE_RZ JoystickDevice1=rudder
AXE_U JoystickDevice0=pitch
AXE_X JoystickDevice1=brakes
AXE_Y JoystickDevice1=brakes
AXE_X JoystickDevice0=aileron
AXE_Y JoystickDevice0=elevator
AXE_Z JoystickDevice0=-power

Save the file. Only problem is that whenever you open the "Controls" from the menu, this line is removed!
You can make the file "read-only" by selection in file "properties" but then it will not  save changes to things like skins etc. for each a/c that you fly.

None of this is dependant on the rudder pedal software so it should work with all makes of rudder pedal.
