Thought I might try this helo out:

Installation instructions call for pasting text into "air.ini" file.   Where is this file located?   Stuffed if I can find it!

BlueDog in your mods folder there is a folder called STD. The path is MODS/ STD/ com/ maddox/ il2/ objects/ air. Do some exploring you should find it, if you can't I'll talk you through it on Sunday. Good luck it is a fun machine.

Hi Bluey.

I found the file by following the path;

Files/Com/Maddox/Il2/Objects/Air.  My file isn't called Air.ini, just Air.  There's a full list of all aircraft in there, just copy and paste to your hearts content,

OK, installed as per SAS instructions but cant find the helo in game.

My MODS folder has a "-" in front of it.   However, when I remove the "-" and try to load game, it runs out of puff at 60% and returns me to the Windows screen.

Any ideas chaps?

Yep you need to go to SAS and download the latest button file. Install it in MODS/ STD/ gui/ game/ buttons. Remove your old button file and replace with the new, DO NOT Overwrite. Then remove the "-" from your MODS file name and enjoy your new Helicopter.
