News from Death Valley Raceway is that the Fury MkX "Furious M" has received sponsorship from a well known brewery.

Initially funded by voluntary contributions from wounded CfC jockeys, rumour has it that the cylinders have been honed out to greater than size D cups, knicker elastic on the cowling's replaced with giant "riv-nuts" and a nitro induction system fitted to the ageing Napier Sabre power unit.

It has been clocked lapping the circuit in under 6 1/2 minutes!

It may be prudent to try and acquire a similar machine for Thursday's racing or you may see Matron's backside disappearing up the valleys!
