Room for a Guitar in your suitcase woof?

Any chance you can 'forget' a few pairs of pumps and fit a guitar in your suitcase Woof?

I'm having a nightmare of a job trying to get hold the guitar I want in the UK and needed to have a rant to let of steam! I've had various places telling me that they have contacted the supplier in the UK and been advised (my paraphrasing):

'There is no such guitar'
'It isn't being stocked in the UK'
'It's an old model and has been discontinued'
'It's only just been released and we don't know how much it will cost let alone when it will be stocked'

Or they just simply fail to get back to me.

I'm getting to the point where I think that I might actually have to come to the US to get one! even getting it shipped will nearly double the cost in tax and shipping as well as having no real comeback if it is damaged in transit. Hmm is a £450 ticked and £90 for a new passport too much to obtain the guitar I want.........
