Have to agree with Conky here.
Gamebooster has been working fine for me for several years now so I don't think I'll change it.

For those using Gamebooster and maybe not getting it's full potential the brief tutorial here might be useful.

I use it to shut everything off and for IL-2 I start TrackIR and TS first then click 'launch and boost'. (All your desktop icons will disappear, a bit disconcerting the first time)

For XP users, half way down page 2 is a 4GB Patch which I have also applied to most of my games. I can't say conclusively how well this works as I don't benchmark anything but things do seem to run smoother.
