Lucky Fitz!

Amidst all the other goodies I got for my birthday, Mrs Fitz tracked down an almost mint condition 1955 copy of 'The first and the last' by Adolf Galland. Very impressed and looking forward to sitting down for a good read.

Also bought myself the pilot notes for the hurricane and Me109 on a visit to Cosford whilst on holiday.

Thanks Conky, I thought I'd mentioned it! Mine was on the 16th and Mrs Fitz had hers on the 18th so we normally go away for the week as a joint celebration.

We had a great time though Mrs Fitz has a few blisters after trekking accross various hills in Shropshire. I now have almost the entire back catalogue of Bill Bryson books and a load more WW2 stuff 

I haven't managed to order Mrs Fitz's present yet though! eek
