I've mentioned this a couple of times to Fitz so thought I'd stick up a couple of pics.
When I was using a Saitek Cyborg Evo I wanted some rotaries and extra switches but didn't want to buy anything dedicated so came up with this.
Disassemble a retired joystick, another Cyborg in this case keeping wiring and switches as complete as possible.
Draw layout onto blank paper and insert into video cassette case.
A bit of research on the Ubi forums was needed to find the best pot type. Buy new pots and switches from wholesaler for a little over 10 quid.
Cut holes in case to fit the purchased items with a Dremel. Care needed here as 25 year old plastic cracks easily :-\
Remove old pots and switches and solder on new ones.
Stuff into case and fly.
It's a bit rough and ready as I didn't expect to be photographing it.

A case, not big and previous owner has cut a hole in a side panel for a window. Don't have the window.
Can dig it out and measure if you want.
Q-Tec PSU 550w Dual Fan PFC.
Has 20 + 4 motherboard plug.
Nv 6800 Ultra AGP GPU
Nv 7900 GTX PCI-E GPU (factory overclocked)
Needs cooling unit re-attaching. (can't find the screws at the moment but will keep looking)
Corsair memory. 2 x 1gigs.
Anything of use?

Ok chaps, it seems my pc is sending out dodgy e-mails so delete anything from me on sight until I figure out how to fix it.
