"General Rof Room" - it's got a certain ring to it, good one Fitz!

Anyhoo, I just thought I'd mention a very good "source novel" for this game.  I'm sure most of you will have read it, but in case you haven't, seek out a copy of "Winged Victory" by V.M. Yeates.  I'm reading it for the fourth or fifth time now and it really makes me appreciate the atmosphere created by the game.  It is a novel, rather than memoir, so in some ways more readable than most books of the type.  However the author was a combat Camel pilot, so not only is it a fun read - you can also pick up flying and fighting tips.

Ted  (maybe soon to become Gen Rof Room!)

I think Palmtree said, if you can fly a Camel you can fly anything.

I have some experience of Camels, so should be good to go. (Never tried to glide one off a cliff though!)

HE Lord Binks.

Dust, heat and sweat. Like living in Matron's armpit.......

I say Binks Old Chap.....do you always go in from behind with your Camels....or do you approach from the 12 'o' clock as Matron suggests?
