What's going on here?   I wrote the above post two or three minutes ago and then went on Face Book and the first thing I saw was a posting from an actor friend with a link to the same Dave Allen clip.  Is Face Book run by an Irish convent?  Will there be a plague of flying blasphemers?  Is this what happens when you listen to Knock Once after midnight?

It's doing the rounds on viral email.....Dave Allen specifically disallowed any repeats of his programmes and there was a long period after he died (I think about ten years ago) when you could not find any of his material. I believe his widow or children finally allowed the release in recent years and now you can see most of his recordings on YouTube.
He was a ranconteur par excellence.....Sorely missed.
