Chuffy's Flying Circus

Greetings Chuffolites.
I trust that all are well in these virulent times. Thought I would check in briefly to let all know that despite my great age, I am still working out here in the sand pit, and have just been offered a new 4 year contract in the very dry confines of Riyadh. Thankfully, Dubai is but a short flight away.
I doubt that many will see this post, as the last update here appears to have been in 2021. Best wishes to all for a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

Rotten luck for me that you will be in Riyadh as I have a layover in Dubai on January 22nd, my first time there. Any must-see or do things I shouldn't miss?

Hope you're well. Ping a bit of warm weather back blighty way if you get a chance, these heating bills are crazy!!!

Hello Conky, chances are I will still be in Dubai on the 22nd. Hurrah! Best thing to do on a layover is go to Dubai Mall. Sounds dull, but it's quite incredible. The aquarium, and the fountains under the Burj Khalifa are a must see.
I've read of the suffering Fitz, and am currently experiencing it first hand, in Edinburgh!
