Joining HL with UP3

OK, finally got to set up UP3.   Works OK offline, but when I try to join a UP3 RC server on HL I get a message saying "Sorry, old Bean but you can't join in because you're running a different version.   We use V4.10.1m with a jolly old MDS v 1.2for UPv1.2RC2; so bugger off and pootle around till you can dress yourself correctly!"

What does this all mean?   Happened on all the UP3 servers I tried.

When I first got 3.0 I was able to get into the bob server a few times, but then just last week I started getting the same message.  I guess they've changed, m'dear.

Did you re-path the address for the .exe?

Has there been any "hotfix" patches?

I dont follow UP anymore as were running HSFX 5.01 so Im not up to date on any UP news.

UP 3.0 has a new patch  - RC3.  This caught us out last week on Fitz's server.  Could it be that either the server or you aren't (or the other way about)  running with this Bluey?

Yep someone was not up to RC3. Kinda hard to keep up with this.
