CfC Quick Missions for 4.10 issued

Well it has been a bit of a marathon....46 missions on eight maps!

These missions will add the CfC online DF maps with all their objects and airfields (including Fifi's) to your 4.10 QMB flyable missions.

It will enable you to select from the QMB any CfC DF map scenario and fly "None", "Scramble" and "Airbase" missions with up to 32 aircraft on each side!

In addition, 4.10 allows the creation of carrier spawning missions, so I have added a "CfCCarrier" map based on our "Islands" DF so that you can practise carrier specific missions.

Due to the nature of the mission installation, I have loaded all these missions into an "Installer" which is now contained in a folder and available from the "Dropbox/Bounder Missions/CfC Quick Missions01_410"

Open this folder and read the Readme file. Then double click on the "Installer" exe file and point it as directed to your 4.10 installation. You can also install it into a combined UP201/4.10 installation.

If you don't want all eight new mission maps, after installation just open your "Nissions/Quick" directory and delete the folders containing any of the prefix "CfCxxx" names. THESE ADDITIONAL MISSIONS DO NOT REPLACE THE ORIGINAL 4.10  QUICK MISSIONS (they are still all available and do not have the "CfC" prefix)

Marvellous Bounder, thank you!  The only prob i had was being unable to view the readme file - am I behind the times in not being able to read .odt files?

Great work, Bounder.  Endless thanks.  I could find no bugs...except I couldn't find the channel map.  Is there one in the mix?

Unfortunately Woof, the Channel map will never be available for 4.10 (competition for CoD) so only for UP2.01.

However, when UP updates to a bug free 4.10 (two weeks!) we will have a lot of new mission building toys. The new version of MDS (1.2) will allow ground spawning on all our home built airfields (like the Desert map) and Zuti has also removed the Certificate AI mod that caused all our escort problems online (AI complaining of friendly fire) so that I will finally be able to complete the "Strike Wings" missions.
