Launcher .exe error

Got this after the last official patch. I have un/reinstalled, but still get this. I believe one has to delete summat from the 'softclub' directory, but I am unsure what. Help from you knowledgeble wallahs would be appreciated, ta

Delete the CLOD launch icon from your desktop, delete the contence of your catch file from your user file, delete CLOD from Steam with Steam, download CLOD from Steam. enjoy. I had to do the same thing a couple of week ago.

It's the latest fix BD. The patch notes include:
'removing the disapointment of playing clod' and 'saving space on your hard drive for games that work'

There is more but those were the highlights......

Oh Fitz you old grouch - wait till you see the new CloD pics I'm cutting!  You'll just want to go out a spend loads of unnecessary cash on upgrades for your pc so you can play it!!

Well thanks to SB for his advice, all is ticketty-bo now.
Even with my limited resources I can fly over London with nary a stutter; loading times are licketty-split too.
Mind you I haven't loaded any opposition, so FPS might suffer then.
