It is real BD, behind the scenes video below:

He also did something similar dangling under a helicopter over LA a while back (though he did have a safety harness under the suit).

Hmmm, this is beginning to make me want BoS. I just hope they do a catch up on all the maps and planes pack that doesn't cost £500

I expect that the problem is CloD rather than steam. CloD is a poorly coded, un-optimised, not even half finished load of dross.

Hi Minky,

I've never had a problem with Steam myself, in fact I wish it had stopped my from launching CLOD and learning the real meaning of dissapointment. If you've played less than two hours you should be able to get a refund. I wish I could....

pip pip,

Fitz

p.s you might want to try Rise of Flight or Battle of Stalingrad instead as they actually work and are quite good apparently.

I used to love BF2 and I remember PR when it first started out. Installed and ready to rock!

Hi Woof,

That just relates to the pre-release version, there have been plenty of win10 Nvidia drivers released since then so you should be fine.

Hi Bounder,

I did run it on my music machine and it was great, but it was a driver issue that made me roll back. Everything apart from my main audio interface worked fine (and in fact most of it ran much faster or smoother than on 7) but sadly I can't run it without my audio interface so back to 7 I went. As soon as the driver is out I'm switching back though.

Also as an aside, it's just a couple of button clicks to switch back to 7 so it's worth installing it and checking what works and what doesn't. If anything is a deal breaker, hit the revert to 7 button and back you go. Didn't take long to either install or revert, much faster than any previous install.

I'm saving installing it on my main machine as I need to do some upgrading and replacing of hard drives, I'll do a clean install once I can afford all the bits I need.

Hi Axion,

I use Simple Machines Forum software:

http://www.simplemachines.org/

There was no specific reason other than I looked at a few and SMF seemed the simplest to use and didn't require lots of paid add ons or to have to bundle it with web hosting etc.

The upgrade appears to have gone fairly smoothly, other than the colour scheme for the post reply section!! Let me know if you have any problems chaps and I'll look into it. For now may have to change the forum scheme as it isn't really compatible with the latest version.

Edit - Sorry chaps, had to change the scheme as I was unable to read anything on the admin pages and various functionality elements of the new forum software wouldn't work with it. Found a flight simmy theme for now. Let me know what you think.

Thanks Bounder, looking forward to it as soon as I have some spare cash. Sadly I am now having internet problems with Virgin as well. I'm presuming it's either over utilisation or perhaps issues caused by the upcoming upgrade but my evening and weekend internet speeds are dreadful and unstable. I was only getting 750kbps yesterday! As it's fine during the day I'm guessing they are over subscribed in my area.

I keep grumbling at them but they just keep saying there are no faults and everything should be fine so I may need to change providers :(

Hoping for some good luck for once,

Fitz

Hi Chaps,

Looks like the version of forum software I have been using has reached the end of it's update process. There is a newer version but it will mean some changes to the forum. I'll try and get things up and running and back to normal asap.

pip pip,

Hi bb,

Nope password is the same as normal. it should be in the server details page if you want to check. Didn't want to post it here as this part of the forum is viewable by all.

Regards,

Fitz
