Well, after 5 month's my current company has just upgraded it's web filtering to exclude all game related sites.  This means that the 1C and UBI are now jammed and off the air.

I know this isn't news, but I thought I'd share the despair of being in vitual-war-time with only information on the Insurance industry at my disposal....  The horror!! 

I wish I was retired....   :-\

Feel my sympathy, Badger, as i have the same problems except for two little things: the forum sites are still accessible for me and i am able to switch off the proxy for short period of times and i can browse freely.
There is other trick which may solve the problem on certain sites:
put an S after HTTP...so instead of http://www.youtube.com use https://www.youtube.com. Some filtering softwares are dumbass and let you through with this. It works for me at least with Websense.
Is not blocking websites against constitutional human rights?

                      Use care for what you wish for...retirement is grand but can be fraught with pitfalls. As in my case this past week when Mrs Paladin decided that WE need to repaint the master bedroom and bath the WE in this case a strange non-plural use of the word that I have encountered more then a few times in the past.
